Mama's Hijab

It finally happened and the day has come where I have started to don the hijab. Because of Allah. May Allah help me on this journey.

I started wearing the hijab on 5 April 2014, a Saturday. Age 38 going on 39 in a couple of months. Choice of hijab is the one called the hoodie. May Allah help me be a better Muslim.

Port Dickson family trip

It was a sad week beginning the 8th March due to the missing MH370, haze and water ration. So to cheer me up I finally finished making this video of our trip to Port Dickson way back in July2012. I pray that happier times will come, that the plane be found, the haze won't come back and that rain, lots and lots of rain to ensure that no water ration will ever be required.

Melaka Trip 25 March - 27 March 2014

At Tanjung Bidara Beach

 We did it! Our first road trip with the Suprima! We stayed at Afamosa Condotel for 2 nights. On the first day, after we checked in and had a rest, Bak drove us to Tanjung Bidara beach.

On the second day, we went to Melaka town. Spent half a day there walking here, there everywhere. We were so tired by the time night came. It reminded me of that last day in Australia - how tired I was and how tired my legs were. Only here it was extremely hot!! Which is worse really hahaha. The best part of the day was when you had your picture taken with an orange iguana names Tyson! He was a very big lizard!

On the third day, we checked out from the condo by 9.45am and went straight to the Waterpark. We had fun going down the slides amd then by 2pm we headed over to the Safari park. It was great, we rode on an elephant named Lucy and you rode on a pony named Suzie.

Mh370

On 24 March 2014, it has been confirmed that MH370 has crashed into the Indian Ocean. The world has been hoping for a miracle for the past 17 days but there was none. All souls on board had perished with the plane. My heart is filled with sorrow as we proceed with our lives, with our daily routine, with our plans whilst the families of those on that plane grieve for their loss, their lives ripped apart, torn forever. I pray that their souls rest in peace, that they did not suffer at the end of their lives and that the truth will finally be revealed as to what really happened on that ill fated plane. Let justice prevail for the surviving families and relatives. May Allah keep us all safe wherever we are.

Naik Quran

You did it! Alhamdulillah! You finished the iqra books and now has started reading the quran on 5 March 2014. I am so proud of you. To commemorate this event, we sedekah pulut kuning, air kotak and mamee to cikgu Ros' students and the masjid.

Jan 2014 - My little pony is your current craze - thanks to Natasya who introduced it to you. Your favourite is Pinkie Pie. We got you a tiny Pinkie pie recently.

Proton Suprima

5/3/2014 - Welcome to the family. We finally did it! Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for your blessings. We managed to buy a brand new car - Proton Suprima S. We kept the old plate number from the VW Golf. We will miss our dear old Golf which has served us well for the past 10 years. Its not sold yet though. Here's the golf with its brand new plate number.
