Bed stylist

Your current craze in 2014 is making up a tent / fort on the bed/ ikea double sofa bed. Kesian mama tengok. You put so much   effort into it and most of the times the pillows you use will fall and tumble and then you have to restart all over again. Then once its done you will go under the tent and watch My little Pony cartoons on the ipad. Then after a little while you would change the design of the bed tent again! Funny Wen.

Facial spa

Recently, you had a hankering for a spa day ever since you saw one of the ponies in my Little Pony had a mud mask and cucumber slices on its eyes.

I want to get fit!

Last Tuesday, you surprised bak when you told him "bak, on sunday when you are on holiday lets wake up early and exercise because I want to get fit"

Hahaha so cute when your 8 year old daughter says that. When he told me about it I told him that you had just learned in school - things to do to get fit.

Kem Solat 2014

This year's Solat camp was conducted on a Saturday 15 Feb. It was supposed to be a replacement for one of the extra Chinese New Year holidays but instead they had the solat camp. I never ask you to go to a Saturday school but since it was the solat camp day, I said that best if you go and Natasya was going too, so that was an encouragement for you.

You even went to school with Natasya! Her mom picked you up from home. Aahhh my girl is learning to be more independent. 

Life

Kids having kids, once healthy in-charge adults  are getting sick and dependent, parents passing on .... And so this is life. The circle of life. It makes me sad and melancholy in accepting this fact but alas there is not much I can do to stop it. We are all on the same journey.

Be happy, be content, be grateful, be kind, be humble, be nice. Don't get caught up with material things and stuff. Try to be clutter free. Helps you breathe better.

Best Mother Ever!!

There are many traits a mother should have to earn this title - a good cook, plays with the children, listens and talk to the kids, treats the children to fun stuff, helps with homework etc. You know the usual mum stuff. Well recently you bestowed me with this title during dinner just because of my funny facial expressions and reactions! Hahaha apparently, your mom is unintentionally funny and you and bak are more often than not are in cahoots and laughing at me. I don't mind really but i just find it hilarious that you find me so funny. Hahahaa

Finally, we can ride together! Yippee!

You finally did it! You can ride the bicycle. It took you quite a while to get it. We moved from 2 training wheels to only 1 training wheel since last year but due to lack of time used to practice, it was quite a difficult task for you. Bak had signed you up for the OCBC cycle since last year and was trying to get you to ride but you couldn't do it until bak had to scold you. Kesian. Then on 12 Jan 2014 while i was away doing a yard sale with Aunty Tina, you finally did it! I couldn't believe it! You and bak did it! Alhamdulillah! Hahaha we were so relieved. It felt like a huge milestone for you. I felt just like i did when you were potty trained! Phew!!

Pierced ears

You got your ears pierced! I wasn't too sure whether we should let you but we did anyway because you wanted it. You've been asking for it for a few weeks already. So you finally got them on  3rd February 2014 which was the second day of the Chinese New year school break. We had your ears pierced at Poh Kong shop in One Utama. You were so brave and didn't cry een though you said it had hurt.
