Frozen

1 Dec 2012. We went to watch Frozen with Mak Teh, Nadiah, Adam, Redza and Ya. Bak is in Dubai and we are having a sleepover marathon! More on the sleepover in the next entry.

Ocbc Cycle 2014

Mama and Bak participated in the Ocbc Cycle event. The Challenge 48km and we  did it! We got the finisher's medal. This was on 19 Jan 2014. You were supposed to ride for the kids' 5km event with me on the Saturday but since you only managed to actually cycle on 2 wheels all by yourself last week (12 Jan 2014) and needed more practice, we thought we'd give the kids' event a miss this year. 

Since the event that mama and bak joined starts at 6.30am and we need to be at Dataran Merdeka by 5.30am, you needed to sleepover at Tok bak's house the night before. This was your first sleepover all by yourself! Thank Allah you were ready for it. You were so excited! Prior to this, any sleepovers must include Mama. You never did want to sleepover by  yourself. I guess it was just time that you were ready. 

Arwen's DIY Polaroid/ Instax Camera

You made this in Dec 2013. I thought it was brilliant! You named it Magic Pinkelina Snaps - The Wonder Camra. So you would draw pictures and pretend they were the pictures you took - just like the Polaroid camera or what is known in this period as the Instax. 

Hi-5 Concert

Dec 28, 2013 you, me and Ya went to see the Hi-5 Concert. It was held at KLPac, Sentul West park. It was great and we had a wonderful time! You and Ya sang and danced along with them.

Welcome 2014!

Well what do you know? You are in standard 3!! Wow how time does fly. The first day of school went fine. It was a good day for me. I hope it was a good day for you too.

Mama prays for better and brighter things for you and for us as a family this year. I don't really make new year's resolutions nor do I celebrate the incoming of  a new year but right now is a good a time for me to berdoa agar Arwen menjadi anak yang rajin, pandai belajar, baik, mendengar kata as well as a warm, generous, kind, humble human being, seorang umat Islam yang soleh dan berjaya di dunia dan akhirat.
