Bak starts new job at Maybank

Bak started work at Maybank on 6 August 2105 after 9 years in Amanie. It was time for a new horizon for him and for us too. I pray that he will do well here and dimurahkan lagi rezeki for all of us. He was in Melbourne from 15 to 22 August 2015. An overseas trip immediately after he joined Maybank! This time we could not follow him. Maybe next time! InsyaAllah!

Selling the house

Since December 2014, we have been talking about moving to Cyberjaya because suddenly we are attracted to the lifestyle that Cyberjaya can offer us. Bigger roads, less traffic, no MRT construction,  better facilities for cycling, running and swimming nearby. The facilities there are cheaper too.

So we have put up this house for sale. Let's pray that all will go well and easy for us and that this move will be the best for all of us - including Cleo! Allahumma Yassir Wala Tuassir Allahhumma atmim bil khair..

We run KL 2015

On 2 Feb 2015, mama and bak participated in this event. It's a 21 km run! 21 km is half a marathon. I have been training on and off since last year but with the end of year holidays, its more off than on. So for the 1 week before 2 feb, mama and bak ran 5km every day at the TTDI park right after we sent you to school.

So at this event, I ran past my usual 5km!  It's actually quite amazing and unbelievable that I did this. Goes to show what we can do if we want to do it. 

You created hashtags for both mama and bak - #mamarunsfunny #bakiscrazy - because mama does run funny and bak is crazy for making us wake up so early whenever we run, bike or exercise.

Truth be told, I hate running. I never did get the runners's high but I just did it anyway because Bak pushed me and eventually I relented as I know its good for me anyway. So I am actually very proud of myself and proud of Bak too.

Bak is away....and Bak's 34th Birthday.

Bak is away to Brunei for 2 days and 2 nights. Just now when it was time to get ready for bed you said " I miss Bak." Yeah, it really is sad when he has to go away on business but of course he has too. It's work. Previously, when he had to travel, you & I would sleep over at Tok Bak's house but it's getting harder now because you really do want your own bed when going to sleep. You would ask for your bed and your home. You would be fine during the day but night time is terrible. You would toss & turn because there is no air-conditioner at Tok Bak's guest room! So this is the 2nd time that we are sleeping at home - just the 2 of us without Bak. I pray that all goes well for Bak & for us. Mama ni kadang-2 takut jugak but I have to be brave for your sake eh? :)

It was Bak's birthday on 8 Nov 2009. He turned 34 years old. We made a framed birthday card for him. We gave it to him after his birthday and Mama did not bake a cake for him either..kesian Bak. It's just that we had too much cake on your birthday. I thought we don't need cake so soon! Below is the picture of the framed birthday card.

Bak's colleague, Aunty Izlynn gave him a slice of cake. Guess who blew out the candle on the cake? See the below picture for answer.
