Johor Bahru Trip 14-16 April 2017

We were in JB for 3 days and 2 nights for Kak Na and Kak Fida's wedding. This was our first longest road trip where Bak drove. We usually travel by plane but this time with WB881T - Bak drove. Tok was with us of course. Tok stayed at Tok Rubi's house in Taman Plentong Baru while we stayed at I am Jazz Boutique Hotel in Permas Jaya -just about 4 km away from Plentong.

You mentioned that last April, we were in Singapore. Exactly to the date actually and we also were in Melbourne about this time back in 2013. Funny eh...we didn't plan it to be like that but it just happened.

Kembara Sejarah - Melaka School Trip 18 Sept 2015

What a day it was! You went on a school trip to Melaka and of course since I was a worried mommy; I managed to accompany you on the trip. Well, on the pre-text that I was there to assist your teachers of course. There were other mommies on the trip as well.

You had fun. I got to worry over 113 kids and was exhausted by the end of the trip but it was all worthwhile and I was glad I went along and that you got the experience since next year you will be in the Cyberjaya school.

There were 113 kids, 5 teachers and 5 mommies. We left home at 6.40am for school and the buses left the school at about 9.30am and returned to scholl grounds at 12.45am!!

1 Dec 2012. We went to watch Frozen with Mak Teh, Nadiah, Adam, Redza and Ya. Bak is in Dubai and we are having a sleepover marathon! More on the sleepover in the next entry.

Hi-5 Concert

Dec 28, 2013 you, me and Ya went to see the Hi-5 Concert. It was held at KLPac, Sentul West park. It was great and we had a wonderful time! You and Ya sang and danced along with them.

Blok Space at Ikano Power Centre

This was on 24/5/2013. A new outlet just opened where kids can build their favourite Lego sets at the outlet for RM12 an hour. You asked for Olivia's house which required 3 hours to complete. It was a huge set and quite difficult. At the end of the 3 hours you could not even complete the first floor. Kesian Arwen but you had a good time. I kept checking up on you from time to time because I felt so sad leaving you there by yourself. No friends but the girl who sat next to you helped you along but I know it's not the same as having your friends or cousins there.

First hair wash in a hair salon

12 May 2013, first hair wash at a hair salon. What a treat since you never like washing your hair at home and i always end up grumbling because i can't wash your hair thoroughly. This was at Cut and Go at e@Curve.

28 March 2013 - Well, finally! You watched a movie with Bak! No more "its too loud" and "nak out! Nak out!" Hehe. Yeah i think we traumatised you when we took you to the Transformers movie when you were 4 years old. So Bak is finally happy that he can watch a movie with you now.

Ice skating at Royale Bintang Hotel

29 march 2013 - we took you to ice skate. Bak didn't skate. He said its not his thing. This time was better compared to the 1st time we went skating at Sunway Pyramid. This time we had Gunther the Penguin's help. It was still hard at first for you but eventually you got the hang of it.

Sakae Sushi

This was on a Sunday 6 January 2013. You suddenly asked when can you try sushi rice last week on the way home from school. Well you have been asking to try quite a few new things lately. Like oranges - which you suck only the juice and only when its sweet and not sour. You tried mango and watermelon but  no - you didn't like them but the fact that you were ready to try them makes me very happy. So, moving on - you like the sushi rice and the salmon - pink fish! This was at Sakae Sushi at a new mall - Paradigm Mall in Kelana Jaya.

Arwen's Day Out with Bak - Cosmos World theme park, Berjaya Times Square

Mama had a school reunion at Star Hill Gallery on 15 September 2012 from 12pm to 5 pm. I told Bak that I will be at most 2 hours at the reunion. So he planned to take you to the theme park at Berjaya Times Square - Cosmos Theme Park. However, I ended up spending time catching up with my old friends until 5 pm! So you really did have a great day out with Bak!
