Pancake vs Roti Canai

This was during Ramadhan this year. You suddenly asked for pancakes for breakfast. I haven't made any in a long time. The last time I made it, it probably came out of a box. So on that particular morning, I was so sleepy as I went back to sleep after sahur at 5 in the morning. So even though I was still so sleepy, I willed myself out of the bed, turned on the computer to look for a recipe since I can't recall what ingredients would be needed and proceeded to make the pancakes. So this is the result (see picture below)

 

So after all that, you looked at the pancakes and said " Ma, i asked for pancakes not roti canai."

errggghhhhh!!!! 

Nasib baik Arwen makan jugak. After that I realised I forgot to put baking powder, patut la pancake mama tak naik,,,,hmmmm..sorry Wen :)

The Things I do for Love

Earlier this year you loved watching the cartoon "Courage The Cowardly Dog" and there was 1 line that you imitated so well. Courage the dog would often say "The things I do for love.." You could imitate it down to the intonation. It was so funny.

Penyut Minuman

Today, on the way back from school, we bought Slurpee at 7-eleven. While I was driving home she said "Penyut minuman ni macam sudu." I went "Eh?What?"...tak pernah dengar perkataan ni...Rupa-2nya, penyedut minuman = STRAW!! hahahaa lawak la Wen.

 

Losing baby teeth

You lost your first 2 baby teeth ( bottom front) earlier this year. In january, 2 weeks before Chinese New Year. Your real teeth were coming out already at the back of the baby teeth so we had to go to the dentist to pull out the baby teeth.

Then, recently on 27 Sept 2012 you lost the top right baby tooth. The one that was already rotten due to breastfeeding and that you didn't want to brush your teeth when you were a baby. Yeay!! I can't wait for the other one to come out!! This one has been loose for quite some time but since the permanent tooth was nowhere to be seen so we didn't go to the dentist. Then you were eating an oreo cookie and it came off. Yippee!!

At the dentist after the teeth were pulled out.

No more bottom 2 baby teeth. But you can see the real teeth coming out already. That's why we had to pull out the 2 baby teeth.

Ladies Pro Golf Association 2012 (14.10.2012)

So we went to the LPGA Tournament today at KLGCC. You said you were excited to see Paula Creamer but soon enough the heat and the walking got you worn out. Bak wants to take you here every year. This is our 3rd time. Maybe one day you can be the LPGA World no 1 ! InsyaAllah. :)

LPGA hujan!

We were supposed to go to the LPGA today but it's raining!! So we went to Ikea and the Curve instead. We had a yummy breakast at Ikea and then Arwen had milo dinosaur at PappaRich.

Know the meaning of the bacaan that we read for duduk antara sujud. Its a beautiful doa. I'm 37 and just got to know the meaning. You can do better sweetheart. Know it from young. Know all the meaning of all the bacaan in our solat from young.
